Endometriosis is a disease involving the endometrium (lining of the uterus). Endometriosis causes the endometrium to be found outside the uterus. This causes the woman to suffer from painful menstruation and infertility. Endometriosis can be treated by operation that results in fertility, even if it does not completely cure the woman of endometriosis.
Depressing Fertility News
My friend Jan told me today that her and her husband had finally conceived and were just ending their first trimentst when she had a miscarriage. It had taken them 5 years and then now back to the drawing board. Actually there is some good in all of theis, beacuse not it becomes for of a pregnancy issue than a conception issue. I know they’ll make it through.
Fertility Fairness
I often wonder why some people are able to conceive and others aren’t. Did I do something horrible in my earlier years to warrent my childless status. A fertility calculator counts approximately 14 days before your menstruation and narrows in on 4 days of optimized fertility based around your ovilation date. This sholuld be tried first before any further infertility treatments.

Infertility Causes
There are many infertility causes. Some infertility causes are ovulation oriented and others are more foundational, developing from problems with the reproductive organs themselves.
Ovulation based infertility causes are the most common and also the easiest to treat. Usually ovulation based infertility is the result of hormonal issues and can be reversed by introducing the correct hormone.
Infertility causes stemming from the organs themselves and can be harder to treat. Some are treatable through operations and others aren’t, yet the couple is aided to conceive through IVF or another assisted reproduction method. Sometimes the infertility cause is so foundational the couple cannot conceive at all or at least not without a surrogate.
